1. Unscrew the four bolts securing the guide tube and case assembly (24) and carefully remove in an upright position to avoid loosing ball (18).
2. Separate push pin (23) and coil (22) from guide tube and case assembly (24).
3. Remove ball (18) from seal and o-ring assembly (17). Dislodge seal and o-ring assembly (17) from end cap (19).

4. Remove end cap assembly (19) from body assembly (8) by removing two screws (21). Separate o-ring (20) from end cap (19).
5. Dismantle stem and seal assembly (15), spacer (16), spring (14), poppet (13), o-ring (12) and seat (11) from main body assembly (8).
6. Carefully reposition valve in vise to allow removal of relief plug (1) and relief assembly (2-5).
7. Use a small screwdriver to turn out relief seat (6).
8. Gently tap on valve (8) and position as necessary to remove orifice (7).
9. Place valve body (8) on its side to remove plug (10) and orifice plug (9).
10. Clean and flush out body assembly (8) and all components with cleaning solvent.
