Normal Linkage and Blade Positions

Fasten right and left links in top holes. Center shift link in normal position.

Connect center shift link top end in right hole of side shift rack. Connect lower end on left side of drawbar.

Extend center shift link for top blading. Shorten for extreme reach.

Set blade vertical for regular work.

Blade Tip

Tilt blade forward for high bank cutting, road maintenance and general dragging.

Tilt blade back to roll material.

Adjusting Lift Links

1. Lower blade to ground to relieve weight on link.

2. Remove locking pin from link retaining pin.

3. Remove retaining pin.

4. Raise or lower lift arm to set link at desired length.

5. Align pin holes in link halves.

6. Install retaining pin and locking pin.

Adjusting Center Shift Link

1. Lower blade to ground and shift rack as necessary to relieve weight on link.

2. Remove snap ring from link retaining pin.

3. Remove retaining pin.

4. Shift rack until link is set at desired length.

5. Align pin holes in link halves.

6. Install retaining pin and snap ring.

Repositioning Center Shift Link

1. Lower blade to ground and shift rack as necessary to relieve weight on link.

2. Loosen lower ball joint cap bolts.

3. Remove ball cap nuts and bolts.

4. Remove cap and shims. Keep shims with cap.

5. Loosen and remove ball joint retaining bolts, lockwashers and retainer.

6. Remove link and ball joint as an assembly. Use brass drift to loosen joint.

7. Loosen retaining bolts of plug in alternate ball joint hole.

8. Remove bolts, lockwashers and retainer.

9. Remove plug. Use brass drift to loosen plug.

10. Install plug in opposite hole. Make sure collar is in hole, and hole and plug are clean.

11. Install retainer, bolts and lockwashers.

12. Install ball joint in alternate hole. Make sure collar is in hole, and hole and joint are clean.

13. Install ball joint, retainer, bolts and lockwashers.

14. Install lower ball cap and shims.

15. Install cap bolts, lockwashers and nuts. Check fit of joint. Joint with teflon liners should be .003 to .008 inch (0,08 to 0,20 mm) tight. Joint without liners should be snug, but work freely.

16. If joint is too tight or loose, add or remove shims as required.

17. Secure link at required length with retaining pin.
