Forward and reverse travel of the machine are controlled by the engine throttle and travle control. Travel speeds up to 5.0 mph (8.04 kph) are possible.

- 1. Raise the main cutter and the auxiliary cutter to their upper limits.
- 2. Use the machine tilt control to level the mainframe.
- 3. Move the throttle all the way to "High".

IF THERE IS PRESSURE IN THE WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM, THE MACHINE MAY LUNGE FORWARD OR BACKWARD WHEN THE EMERGENCY BRAKE IS MOVED TO "OFF" AND THEREBY CAUSE AN INJURY. BE SURE THE WHEEL PRESSURE GAUGE IS AT "O" AND THE TRAVEL CONTROL IS AT "N" BEFORE RELEASING THE EMERGENCY BRAKE. |

- 4. Set the emergency brake at "Off".
- 5. Position the travel control to obtain the speed and direction of travel desired.

DO NOT MOVE THE TRAVEL CONTROL FROM ONE TRAVEL DIRECTION TO THE OTHER WITHOUT BRINGING THE MACHINE TO A COMPLETE STOP FIRST, OR SEVERE DAMAGE MAY RESULT. WHEN MOVING A PR-105 UP ONTO OR DOWN OFF A CURB OR OTHER OBSTRUCTION, USE CRIBBING TO FORM A RAMP FROM THE LOWER LEVEL TO THE UPPER LEVEL OR THE MACHINE MAY BE DAMAGED. |
- 6. Return the travel control to "N" to stop the machine.
