Installing The Elevation Sensors, Supports And References
The machine is shipped from the factory with the elevation sensors already plumbed into the HYDRA-MATION System so that the elevation sensor mounted on the left side controls the left front leg and the elevation sensor on the right side controls the right side legs. The sensor hoses should never be disconnected unless necessary for repair of system components.
Refer to the following illustrations for the correct way to assemble and mount the elevation sensor supports and references.
Regardless of the reference used, the arrow scribed on the sensor shaft should point up and the sensor feeler rod should be horizontal when the sensor is nulled (no hydraulic oil flow from the C1 or C2 ports). The shaft of the sensor on the right side of the machine should point away from the machine centerline. The shaft of the sensor on the left side of the machine should point away from the machine centerline when the sensor is swung around outside the edge of the machine.

Adjusting The Elevation (Deck) Scales
To be sure that the deck scales are calibrated to each other:
- 1. Position the machine on a level surface and lower the mainframe until the cutter teeth are just touching the surface.
- 2. Level the machine front-to-rear and side-to-side.
- 3. Set the pointer on each scale to "O".
