Steering And Elevation Control
`
1. Steering controls - control the hydraulic cylinders that turn the front track to the left ("L") or right ("R"). Either control can be used to steer the machine.
2. Left rear elevation control - controls the left rear elevation cylinder regardless of whether the machine is being operated manually or automatically. THERE IS NO AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF THE LEFT REAR ELEVATION CYLINDER.

3. Front elevation control - controls the front elevation cylinder when the front elevation selector (item 5) is at "Manual".
4. Right rear elevation control - controls the right rear elevation cylinder when the right rear elevation selector (item 6) is at "Manual".
5. Front elevation selector - selects "Manual" or "Automatic" control of the front elevation cylinder. When this control is at "Automatic", the cylinder is controlled by the elevation sensor on the left side of the machine. When this control is at "Manual", the cylinder is controlled by the front elevation control (item 3).
6. Right rear elevation selector - selects "Manual" or automatic ("Auto") control of the right rear elevation cylinder. When this control is at "Auto", the cylinder is controlled by the elevation sensor on the right side of the machine or by the optional cross slope sensor if one is installed. When this control is at "Manual", the cylinder is controlled by the right rear elevation control (item 4).
7. Right rear elevation selector - selects "Cross Slope" or "Sensor" control of the right rear elevation cylinder, but only if item 6 is at "Auto". If this control is at "Sensor" and item 7 is at "Auto", the cylinder is controlled by the elevation sensor on the right side of the machine. If this control is at "Cross Slope" and item 6 is at "Auto", the cylinder is controlled by the optional cross slope sensor. This control should be left at "Sensor" at all times if the machine is not equipped with an optional cross slope sensor.

8. Cross slope selector - sets the cross slope to be maintained by the optional cross slope system.
9. Cross slope indicator - shows the cross slope set in the optional cross slope system.

10. Leg elevation indicators - show the elevation of the mainframe at each of the three legs.
