PS-150B (S/N: 3XR1-UP)
PS-200B (S/N: 5JR1-UP)

Introduction

This Special Instruction provides information in order to install the new traction control system on the PS-150B Pneumatic Compactor and the PS-200B Pneumatic Compactor. The traction control system routes the hydraulic oil to the drive motors. Hydraulic oil is prevented from moving to the drive motor of the wheel that is spinning. The hydraulic oil will then pass through a flow divider valve which will force the opposite wheel to turn. This Special Instruction has been modified.

  1. Install an additional 1G-6426 Disc on each side of flushing valve (14) of the 120-7527 Piston Motor Gp . Each flushing valve should contain two 1G-6426 Discs on each side of the valve. Refer to Illustration 6.

  1. Rework the platform.

    1. Refer to Illustration 7 in order to locate the holes for the 221-1638 Differential Lock Switch .
