PROBLEM

The existing 472-0163 and 472-0164 Brake Hoses, running from the service brake valve under the cab to front and rear axles, need to be inspected and possibly reworked on certain 966M and 972M Medium Wheel Loaders. The existing hose connections for the front and rear axles may have been improperly assembled at the service brake valve. Incorrect assembly will cause incorrect service brake pressure distribution between the front and rear axles, but will not impact brake performance (either stopping distance or slope holding).
