PROBLEM
The existing bolt securing the anti-back flow valve (ABV) inside the 339-9702 Filter Gp-Oil can fail by loosening on certain 793F, 793F AC, 793F CMD, 793F XQ, and 795F AC Off-Highway Trucks. If the existing bolt loosens, it can travel through the brake oil system and potentially damage the brake oil cooler. |

ACTION REQUIRED
Refer the Service Manual if/as necessary and see Special Instruction REHS8649 "Procedure to Improve the Brake Oil Cooler Lines Group on 793F and 795F AC Off-Highway Trucks" for rework procedure. Note that the valve kit is only allowed if the bolt is missing. |

One valve kit 345-9197 will be allowed to purchase to begin the work across the fleet. The valve kit that is removed from the first truck this work is performed on, shall be weld repaired per REHS8649 and used to install in the next truck. This process shall be repeat until the truck fleet is completed |
