When reporting the repair, use "PS46582" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

The engine side accessory drive shaft mounting bolts may not have been tightened to the correct torque on certain 785D, 785D OEM, 785G, 789D, 789G, 793D, 793F, and 793F CMD Off-Highway Trucks. ACTION REQUIRED
Using an appropriate torque tool. Check the static torque value of the (4) engine-side accessory drive shaft bolts according to the following figures. If any fail the static inspection, tighten to the specified assembly torque value. Reference the chart in the attached Rework Procedure. Note: The difference in Torque Value shown in the attached chart for 793D/793F, even though they use the same bolt, is correct. |
