The existing 8T-4186 Bolts for the 582-7233 Shield Group need to be inspected, and if necessary replaced with shorter length 8T-4136 Bolts, on certain 836K Landfill Compactors. One of the existing bolts on the right side of the machine can interfere with an air cooling tube located below the engine shield.

The existing rear engine shield mounting bolts need to be inspected, and if necessary replaced with shorter bolts, on the products listed below. One of the existing bolts on the right side of the machine can interfere with an air cooling tube located below the engine shield. You will not be charged for the service performed.

Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.

If you are no longer the owner of this product(s), please contact your local Cat dealer so that our records can be updated. Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 05May2020 when scheduling this service.
