When submitting claim for Parts Stock Action, Use the appropriate 99Z as the s/n, the appropriate Service Letter Program Number as the Part number in the Part Causing Failure field, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Description Code.
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program. Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your AVSpare product analyst.
|Some 8V1540 Universal Joint Assemblies in dealer parts stock inventory may have been manufactured incorrectly. Incorrectly manufactured parts have no grease fitting installed in the spider assembly|
|Inspect all 8V1540 Universal Joint Assemblies in dealer parts stock inventory for a missing grease nipple/fitting. Reference Image 1 and Image 2 below.
a) If inserted with a grease nipple/fitting, retain in dealer parts stock.
b) If inserted with rivet, remove the part from dealer parts stock.
