AVSpare’s obligations under this Service Letter are subject to, and shall not apply in contravention of, the laws, rules, regulations, directives, ordinances, orders, or statutes of the United States, or of any other applicable jurisdiction, without recourse or liability with respect to AVSpare.
This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS54338" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program. Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your AVSpare product analyst.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the 15May2020 Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Affected Product and Parts Needed.
|The existing 20R-4681 Reman Wheel Motor stator can short to ground on certain 794 AC and 795F AC Off-Highway Trucks. If the existing 20R-4681 Reman Motor stator shorts, it will result in unplanned machine downtime.|

|In order to allow equitable parts availability to all participating dealers, please limit your initial parts order to not exceed 1% of dealership population. This is an initial order recommendation only, and the ultimate responsibility for ordering the total number of parts needed to satisfy the program lies with the dealer.
|Note: 20R-4681 with serial numbers B5Y02000 and up are manufactured with a more robust insulation package. Do not remove all 20R-4681 from dealer inventory, but prioritize installing B5Y02000 and up if necessary.
In the event of a motor replacement please download a full ET Product Status Report, full VIMS download, and download the Flight Recorders from both Motor Control ECMs. To prevent any time delay, submit these files, repair work order, motor serial number and any pictures of the failed area to CPI Feedback for CPI 313742. Request the Dealer TC to submit the CPI Feedback.
