SUBJECT: Fan Reversing Valve Failures

PROBLEM:

Customer may experience loose plugs and blown out seals on the fan-reversing valve due to a change made to the plugs by the supplier. The supplier has switched back to the original plugs with loctite.

SOLUTION:

Replace loose plugs and damaged seals with new plugs and seals. Apply 9S-3263 Sealant (Loctite 242) to the threads of the plugs.
