SUBJECT: THE RUBBER STOPPER ON THE OIL LEVEL GAUGE FOR THE SWING
DRIVE MAY COME LOOSE

PROBLEM:

The rubber stopper on the oil level gauge for the swing drive may become loose. A loose stopper on the oil level gauge can result in a false reading of the oil level in the swing drive. A false reading may result in a premature or a catastrophic failure of the swing drive.

SOLUTION:

If the seal on the oil level gauge for the swing drive becomes loose, replace the gauge with a new 114-1398 Oil Level Gauge. The rubber stopper is glued and vulcanized to the dipstick in order to prevent movement.
