PROBLEM:

Information that contains the factory settings for a specific machine was not available. Factory setting information may be useful in troubleshooting machine problems.

SOLUTION:

The ability to generate a report for the machines that are listed is now available in the Service Information System (SIS).

  1. At the SIS home page, in the list of Additional Service Information, select "Engine Technical Marketing Information - TMI Web".
  2. In the Reference Number field, type in a machine serial number. Add one or more zeros after the serial number prefix in order to fill the eight-character machine serial number field.
  3. Select "Serial Number" from the pop down window selection list.
  4. Click on the "Retrieve Data" button.
  5. Select "Machine Test" for the data.

Test results will be displayed in the sequence that the machine was tested. A "Serial Number Not Found" message will be displayed if the test information is not in the report. Corporate web security login identification and password are required.
