SUBJECT: 735, 740 AND 740 EJECTOR ARTICULATED TRUCKS, HYDRAULIC TEST LINES MAY FAIL

PROBLEM:

Improper routing and manufacturing of hydraulic test lines may allow oil to contact the hot surface of the exhaust. This is a containment action. A Containment PIP is forthcoming.

Note: Please claim any work carried out in this TIB to the forthcoming PIP.

SOLUTION:

Disconnect the five test lines that are identified in the following Table and Illustrations. Before you disconnect the test lines, first mark the test lines and test points with suitable identification labels and marks. This is for the purpose of identifying the test lines and test points at a later date.
