ARTICULATED TRUCKS

725 (AFX1098-Up, B1L1-UP) & 730 (AGF1011-Up, B1M1-UP)

Component Code(s) 7540 7606 7620

SUBJECT: 725 & 730 Articulated Trucks, Automatic Lubrication System to Product Link Connection

PROBLEM:

There is no link cable provided in the product link kit to connect the automatic lubrication system, 251-7321, and the product link, PL312SR (Full kit) or PL121SR (Radio only), into the same twelve-pin plug.

SOLUTION:

Perform the following steps in order to correctly fit the automatic lubrication system and the product link together to the main harness.

Illustration 1

  1. If the machine is fitted with an automatic lubrication system, disconnect plug (1) from the main harness and remove blanking plugs (2).
  2. Remove all the pin connectors from the twelve-pin plug of the harness for the product link.
  3. A/L ? Automatic Lubrication System P/L ? Product Link

  4. Install the pins from the harness for the product link into plug (1) from the automatic lubrication system. Make sure that you install the pins into plug (1) as shown in Illustration 2.

NOTE: Any additional wires that are in the harness for the product link should be capped, sealed and secured to the harness.

The Articulated Trucks product group is currently working on an installation procedure that will incorporate separate plugs for both the automatic lubrication system and the product link without the need to swap pins in the plugs.
