SUBJECT: Product Link ? Software Part Number to CPLS/EM Version Number Conversion Table

PROBLEM:

The AVSpare Product Link System (CPLS) and Equipment Manager (EM) report Product Link software version numbers. In the past, it has been difficult to correlate a software version number with a software part number.

SOLUTION:

Use Table 1 and Table 2 to determine the correct software number based on information reported by CPLS/EM and the module part number.

As an example, you have a PL201 module, part number 242-7205. Your dealership uses CPLS. CPLS indicates the module is currently loaded with version 1.6 software. The latest released software version for that PL201 is version 2.0 (since version 2.1 can only be used in conjunction with EM).
