Note: The callouts show a general location on the machine.
The implement hydraulic system is composed of the following systems: the pilot hydraulic system, the main hydraulic system, the ride control system, the kickout system and the hydraulic fan system. Hydraulic tank (23) is common to all of the systems.
The pilot hydraulic system is made up of the following components: the ball valve (hydraulic lockout) (8), pilot valve (9), detent coils (10), the pilot valve (oil manifold) (11), the shuttle valve (ball resolver) (18) and implement and pilot/brake pump (23) .
The main hydraulic system is made up of the following components: main control valve (12), main relief valve (13), line relief valves (14), tilt cylinder (20), implement and pilot/brake pump (23) and lift cylinders (28) .
The ride control system is made up of the following components: the power train ECM (7), ride control diverter valve (15), pressure balance valve (16), the check valve (ride control) (17), ride control accumulator (27) and lift cylinders (28) .
The kickout system is made up of the following components: pilot valve (9), detent coils (10), the pilot valve (oil manifold) (11), lift kickout (19), tilt cylinder (20), work tool positioner (21) and lift cylinder (27) .
The hydraulic fan system is made up of the following components: hydraulic fan motor (1), hydraulic oil cooler bypass valve (2), hydraulic oil cooler (3), hydraulic fan pump (4), the solenoid valve (hydraulic fan) (5), the engine (ECM) (6) and hydraulic oil filter (23) .
Implement and pilot/brake pump (23) is located under the cab. Implement and pilot/brake pump (23) is a two-section pump. The implement and pilot/brake pump is equipped with a common inlet for each section of the pump. The pilot/brake pump supplies oil to the pilot valve (oil manifold) (11). The implement pump section supplies oil to main control valve (12) .

The pilot valve (oil manifold) (11) and main control valve (12) are mounted on the front frame. The pilot valve (oil manifold) controls the supply of pilot pressure oil to the end caps of main control valve (12).
Main control valve (12) controls the supply of hydraulic oil to the implement cylinders. Main relief valve (13) is mounted into main control valve (12). Main relief valve (13) controls the pressure for the hydraulic system. The line relief valves are also mounted into main control valve (12). If the machine is equipped with a ride control system, the diverter valve (15) will be attached to main control valve (12) .

The optional ride control is a system that dampens the bucket forces which produce a pitching motion as the machine travels over rough terrain.

The hydraulic fan system is used to meet different cooling requirements. The hydraulic fan system reduces the horsepower that is drawn by the fan in a cooler condition or a light work application. Hydraulic fan pump (4) is located on the right side of the engine. Hydraulic fan pump (4) supplies high pressure oil to hydraulic fan motor (1). The hydraulic fan motor rotates the fan in order to cool the hydraulic oil as the oil flows through hydraulic oil cooler (3). The hydraulic fan system is a demand system. As one of the four sensors recognize an increase in temperature, fan pump (4) will increase the flow of oil. Fan motor (1) will start to rotate faster. The fan will move more air through the radiator.
