Removal Procedure

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "AVSpare Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on AVSpare products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
- Move the machine to a level surface.
- Use two people in order to remove plate assembly (1). The weight of plate (1) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).

- Remove cover (2) .

- Move the transmission to third gear forward.

- Remove sleeves (3) .
- Remove spring pin assemblies (4) and (5). Position cable assemblies (6).
- Remove plugs and springs (7). Remove sleeves (8) .

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force. Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment. Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force. |

- Remove bolts (9). Remove priority valve (10) .
