Start By:

  1. Remove the priority valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Priority Valve - Remove".


NOTICE

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.

Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "AVSpare Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on AVSpare products.

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

  1. Remove O-ring seals (1) .

  1. Remove cotter pin (2). Remove washer (3). Remove lever assembly (5). Remove washer (4) .

  1. Remove cotter pin (8). Remove washer (9). Remove lever assembly (7). Remove cover (6) .

  1. Remove bolts (10) and cover (11) .

  1. Remove spool assembly (12). Remove spacers (13). Remove springs (14) and (15) .

  1. Remove slug (16) .

  1. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (17). Remove retaining ring (17) .

  1. Remove retainer (18). Remove spring (19). Remove ball (20) from spool (12) .
