1.1. Disassembly Procedure

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the gear pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Transmission Charging and Scavenge) - Remove".

  1. Remove O-ring seal (1) from the gear pump.

  2. Remove bolts (2) from the gear pump.

  3. Remove pump body (3) from the gear pump.

  4. Remove O-ring seal (4) from the gear pump.

  5. Remove bearings (5) from pump body (3). Use Tooling (A).

  6. Remove bolts (6) from the gear pump.

  7. Remove cover (7) from the gear pump.

  8. Remove O-ring seal (8) from the gear pump.

  9. Remove manifold assembly (9) from the gear pump.

  10. Remove O-ring seal (11) from pump cover (10).

  11. Remove gears (12) and (13) from pump cover (10).

  12. Remove key (14) from shaft (15).

  13. Remove gear assemblies (16) and (17) from pump cover (10).
