Start By:
- Remove the engine oil filler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Filler - Remove and Install".
Note: SERVICE DATA: TOOLING (A) WILL NOT BE IDENTIFIED IN PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE REMOVAL OR THE INSTALLATION. THIS TOOLING IS SHOWN IN ORDER TO ASSIST THE EXPERIENCED SERVICEMAN.
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "AVSpare Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on AVSpare products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
- Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or disposal. The capacity of the cooling system is 47 L (12.4 US gal).
- Remove fuel filter (1). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7477, "Fuel System Primary Filter - Clean/Inspect/Replace" for the correct procedure.

- Remove bolt (2) and remove tube assembly (3) .
- Remove hose assembly (4) from clip (5). Loosen bolt (6) and position bracket (7) out of the way.

- Remove nuts (8). Remove bolts (9) and remove bracket (10) .
- Disconnect hose assemblies (11). Disconnect tube assembly (12) and disconnect hose (13) .

- Loosen bolt (14) and remove bolts (15) .

- Attach a suitable lifting device to air compressor (16).

- Remove bolt (14) and remove air compressor (16). The weight of air compressor (16) is approximately 30 kg (65 lb).
