Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7815, "735 and 740 Articulated Trucks", "Hoist System and Brake System Oil Level - Check". This module is part of Service Manual, RENR6730 and Service Manual, RENR6740. Disregard this section. Replace this section with the following information.


NOTICE

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.

Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "AVSpare Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on AVSpare products.

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.


Note: Before operating the machine, ensure that the oil level is within the operating range.

  1. Park the machine on a level surface. Ensure that the parking brake is fully engaged.

  1. Shut off the engine and allow the level of the oil to stabilize.

  1. Sight glass (1) is located within panel (2) on the left side of the machine. Check the oil level in sight glass (1) .

    The above photograph shows a typical installation.

  1. When the oil is at operating temperature, oil must be above the lowest level mark (4) on the sight glass. Ensure that the oil remains above this level.

    If necessary, add oil through the oil filler tube.
