Description of Change: A new mirror and mirror support is now being used. This change provides the following benefits: greater durability, reduced vibration and improved rear view visibility.
Adaptable To: A new 222-7374 Mirror is now being used. The previous design included the 203-0780 Mirror. This is the auxiliary mirror that is mounted above the main 5P-6879 Mirror .
A new 222-5110 Support Assembly is now being used. These changes are effective with 725 S/N:AFX665
, 730 S/N:AGF665
, 735 S/N:AWR331
, 740 S/N:AXM595
and 740 Ejector S/N:AZZ278
.
The changes to the 149-0150 Mirror Group for the 725 and the 730 and the 211-7978 Mirror Group for the 735, 740 and the 740 Ejector are adaptable to all earlier machines.

(5) 30° ± 2° The new 222-5110 Mirror Support can be made from the existing 7U-1903 Support by fabricating an additional support that is described in illustration 1. Weld the new support to the 7U-1903 Support as shown in illustration 2.

Use steel tubing. The tubing should measure 19 mm (0.75 inch) for the outside diameter and 2.5 mm (0.10 inch) for the wall thickness.
The weld (B) should be a 3 mm (0.12 inch) fillet weld that goes completely around the joint.
Note: The previous mirror supports and the previous mirrors will continue to be serviced.
